With the Angels offense and the way Perez had pitched lately I did not see this outing coming.

No I agree. But he still gets grief when he finally works a count, fouled off some pitches, and took a really tough strike 3 that could've gone either way.

That's being a little sensitive about Murphy. Just saying that pitch was too close to take. Would've said that about anybody. Not just Murphy.

It was on the black. If he didn't stand so far from the plate he might've had a chance at it.

Agree but it seems every game they find new ways of screwing up to fail and score runs and/or give the other team extra outs. They need to tighten up their play and be smarter.

That's the biggest thing. When runs are at a premium you cannot afford to piss away outs. Wash used to at least get that out of his guys. Not so much anymore.

I really dislike the throwing the ball back to the field after the opposing team's home run by our fans.
