Reminds me of when Denver fired George Karl last season...

"Oh you won 50+ games? You're FIRED!"

Just a complete dumb knee jerk reactionary move by the front office.....imho

Be prepared for a few other moves......and the inevitable disgruntled players voicing their concern.
Hopefully they don't name assistant coach Lindsey Hunter as a lame stop gap attempt or to placate the base.

I can only hope Phil Jackson now has him on the short list of candidates to coach the Knicks.

Vinnie Del ***** wonders what all the fuss is about?

VDN took a franchise that had made the playoffs 1 time since 1993.

The Clippers were a far worse decades long joke of a team.

He won a division title and a playoff series with the most god awful franchise in the NBA.

Yet, he was fired for losing in 7 games in the first round.

..........

This much ado about nothing. Coaches get canned all the time in the NBA for trivial reasons.

Unless, somehow its gets baited into yet another stupid racial debate.

Most of the owners in the NBA do not possess a high basketball IQ.....however, most of them do have a solid business 1st approach......but this move to me isn't about business. There was a front office rift, and instead of trying to remedy it logically by taking the high road, the owner and his advisers chose the low road and easy way out....

Now all the cliches will surely ensue.

This tells me that Stephen Curry wasn't fully behind Jackson. If the front office had any impression at all that Curry wanted Jackson around, they never would've made this move.

Looks like a risky, premature move... but who knows, sometimes those pay off.

This was just dumb. When this bites them in the ass all you can do is shake your head.

If you ever wonder why some franchises never contend, this is your example of why.

I expect Curry to whine a bit, he's been very outspoken for Jackson. That said Steph has to make up his mind if he wants to compete for a championship in his career or play for Jackson those things are not compatible with each other.

Some are saying Jackson to the Lakers, as I Warriors fan I hope that happens.

I dont think its a big deal either way like Memphis firing their coach last year. I do think Mark Jackson is a PR disaster waiting to happen, though.

I really think this firing is fine with me. Wasn't getting the most offensively out of the roster. Which could
Be top 5 in scoring with a good system
