It's not the fans fault for bad football for 12 years in a row. If they were good people would come. I still think an Avg of 52,000 fans is amazing for the product and the threat of a LA move. That's only 10,000 less fans than Arizona!! 49 years of NFL football in STL with 8 playoff seasons to show for it. That's a lot of bad football. Besides attendance has nothing to do with this move Stan wants to move to make more money. Which by NFL rules you just can't do.

Where are you getting an average of 52,000 fans per game? That's practically a sell out. Doesn't matter who's fault it is Coug, what matters is the result. Blame whoever you want. The team, the owner, the refs... Fact is IF attendance is down, no one makes a lot of money. And if the only way STL is getting a new stadium is through tax money paid by the fans.. you do the math.

NFL rules.. LOL Tell that to Al Davis

52,000... On ESPN NFL attendance 2015. Stadium holds 66,000. That's what I mean the attendance isn't that bad it's just what the NFL is putting out.

The team with the strongest fan following out of the three are the Chargers. Their fans are rabid. Anyone that thinks the Chargers will move is dreaming including the owner. The Raiders just built a huge state of the art practice facility in Oakland so they are not moving either...imo I think the noise coming from Disney and the Chargers is nothing but a ploy to get their city in gear with the construction of a new stadium. Disney can still be involved in a new stadium in San Diego as well.

The Chargers are gone.

LA attendance was bad when the Rams were good and had Dickerson. So I'll just go out on a limb and guess it wouldn't be to good after 12 loosing seasons like here.

Nope. It's an urban legend that LA can't support a team.....don't believe it.

You really think so? I don't understand why LA just doesn't get an expansion team. Do you believe the Raiders will stay in Oakland?

Probably because they'd have to add a second team to make it even and then they'd have to completely redo the division alignments again, so it'd be more trouble that it'd be worth. That and a lot of the talent pool is diluted as it is, so it'd water down the product even more.

Personally....I'd hate to see the Rams come back here to Cali. St. Louis deserves to have a team.

then how come they don't? :noidea:

Youre talking with a guy that always sees things positively? His boy isn't that bad, our attendance isn't that bad, we're only a Qb away from the SB, on and on!

Exactly, to many bad teams now, and to many bad teams that have been bad teams for years. there is already to many guys in the league that shouldn't be playing

Coug was actually right on the numbers, but wrong as far as not that bad.. Rams are dead last in total attendance and % as well.

I know we are last in the NFL. I meant 52,000 not that bad for having 49 years of NFL football in STL and seeing only eight playoff appearances in those 49 years. Now tell me it wouldn't be the same in any other city. I promise you if you could duplicate those numbers In LA you would not have 52,000 people showing up. And the last time I checked I think LA is a little bit bigger than St. Louis population wise.

if we are dead last, doesnt that mean Detroit, Cleveland, and Jacksonville draw better than us? Well last I checked those teams have been worse than us for a lot longer! Buffalo hasn't done much of anything since the Kelly days,(Playing pretty well this year) yet they will sit out in the dead of winter to watch bad football?

During last nights game I couldn't figure out why so many fans were wearing red. Then I realized the red was the empty seats!
