Eh you got Janoris. Huge get.

Looks like they will target Sanu now.....Not as good as Jones, but they need a #2 target in the worst way now

I had read the Giants wanted Sanu bad. They like his height across from OBJ. Who is gonna watch Andy Dalton throw INTs over their heads now?

LOL.......Sanu is a local Rutgers kid...Pats are in on him also, and they have a lot of Rutgers guys on that roster, so hopefully they could make it happen

Very pleased with this signing. $8 mill is not crazy either. At least to me.

@Old Lion is that too high for a guy you also wanted?

Just hope people don't expect to see a CJ replacement. He will fit nicely, but only a choice few can even closely compare to CJ.

BQ! BQ! BQ!

This move surely keeps us from finding out if BQ drafts a early WR. Now you can get a young kid with the comp or 4th round pick to groom with Tate and Jones.

Still can sign a cheap veteran like the Moore deal last year.

Jones says he chose the Lions over the Patriots or returning to the Bengals.

Hopefully this will set the tone for our new GM to focus on defense this draft. Especially since this is a defensive rich draft.

8 million a year.

Doesn't that seem like a lot? I mean, Tate is only getting $5 million a year. Is he better than Tate? I'm not so sure about that.

Tate is one of the most underpaid WR's in the game. Jones is better then Tate was coming out of FA, Tate just far exceeded expectations.

A good friend of mine is a big Bengals fan. He liked Jones a lot. Always complained that they didn't get him the ball enough.

Tate would get paid more if he was a FA this year. Bigger cap means bigger contracts.

Well the Lions have a #1 and #2 WR both under contract for cheaper than CJ. I will miss CJ, but that contract was crazy IMO.

I'm defense defense defense also, but I will say it be hard for me to pass on Elliot sitting at 16. Never been huge on RBs early, but he will be a beast for some team.

Only other guy for me that's not defense would be Stanley if he fell to 16

Me too. So far it is going as planned for me. My plan was to get Jones, then IAQ or Weddle. Then draft LB and DT in the first 2 rounds. We could use a center as well and then fill in the depth after that.

As far as the price, it may be a little high but it is not bad even for me.
