Yes I know I am a horrible commissioner always late and usually uncreative. I have some ideas for something fun in a while but your guess is as good as mine if I will get to it. i did set a power ranking last week just before the games so ESPN kept track of of everyone's trending position since week 3. in the meantime enjoy week 5s power rankings

Nitty gritty time. 4 weeks left to go and most everyone is still in it. 3 divisions leaders nursing 1-3 game leads and 5 teams all within a game of 2 playoff spots. toss in the points race for the winning challenged cough bishop cough and we are having a pretty good year. Joking aside that was a great game and last week was a lot of fun all around. Playoffs are starting to take shape as well. Pimp and Mebert are looking from the outside having to win out with some luck or pickup 50+ points on bishop by the end. Speaking of bishop the espn settings don't let me designate which wild cards are for points and records. so to keep things clear playoff spots are awarded to the 3 division winners, then the next 2 best records and finally whoever has the most total points from the remaining 7 teams.

so to help break down the wildcard playoff picture i present seeds 1-9: (point tiebreakers)
#1 Johnny Wishbone
#2 Bad Attitude
#3 Colorado Kretons

wild cards
#4 Drink a Forte
#5 Motown Midgets
#6 Dorne Vipers

outside
#7 Show Me Your Tds
#8 Morenci Griffins
#9 Golden Taints

Obviously if you have a good record (griffins and Taints) you are much closer to claiming a division or the 4 or 5 seed but as of right now these are how the playoffs will be seeded. In the meantime enjoy the usually late and always sort of riveting power rankings.

2 huge matchups this week for playoff spots
Griffins V Kretons
Forte V Taints (Officially renamed "bears practice")

all 4 teams are either tied or within a game for 2 spots.

If i beat kreton then things start to get real fuzzy and fun but if not then the last 2 spots likely go kreton (basically locked in at least the 5 seed) and then whoever wins the bears practice.

if you are 5-6 you need to win out otherwise it has been a good ride. while we wait for actual game here are my usual buzzer beating power rankings. enjoy
