Green Bay and Chicago were division games. So automatically a tough game.
Patriots are currently the first team out of the AFC playoffs, but their 3 division rivals are all in. Still definitely in the hunt.
Seahawks are currently the first team out of the NFC playoffs. But still definitely in the hunt.
Philly, Washington, Vikings, Bills, Dolphins, Giants, Cowboys are all currently in the playoffs if season ended today.
That's a hell of a schedule to open the season. All but 4 of our games have been close one score games, and 2 of the games that weren't close we were the ones blowing them out. The record may not currently reflect it, but coming from where we've been, I think we can already consider this season a success. Now with 4 of our last 6 games we should probably be favored, and all 6 are definitely winnable games. I know my schedule is getting busy with end of year work loads increasing and finding time to do family Christmas stuff with everybody, I may not see many more games this year. But this could be the best stretch of football in Detroit for years and years. Let's all try to enjoy it abit.
(I was feeling a bit reflective today. Sorry we can carry on as you were. )
