Each dollar counts with teams heading into the free agency period with less cap space than ever, but with TV deals on the table, the NFL should rebound quickly. Dak Prescott's front-loaded mega deal is a sign that the 2022 salary cap will be significantly higher than this year's. Free agents could opt for more one-year contracts in hopes of signing lucrative long-term deals after the salary cap climbs.

As much as I had hopes/dreams he'd place the tag/trade on him, Kenny would've had to sign that first before any possibility of a trade. It could've back fired.

Not only is this draft weak in pass rushing iDL so is FA iDL- outside of paying a boatload of money and that isn't happening.

My lean to, if we had money, would've been NYG Dalvin Tomlinson and Shelby Harris.
The former will get paid a lot.
Harris is probably good for 25-30 snaps a games from what I read.
