Kind of like how you're reacting to everything these days. Any mention of anything positive Lions related, whoever is stating it, you come back with some trolling, pessimistic, world is coming to an end bs. And that's your prerogative to act that way. But I distinctly remember after your hiatus recently, you came back and said you were done with the drama(I won't mention one of your first threads about Nemo's though). Yet here you are, waist deep in the shit. So you'll have to forgive anyone that doesn't let you "peacefully" have your opinion. It's not like the majority of this board hasn't seen your reactions since Suh left.
I'm sure this is falling on deaf ears(blind eyes?), but it just might be a reason why your OPINIONS aren't treated peacefully.
We could make so much fucking money together guys.A small group of friends who met through an online forum for NFL fans in the U.K. now form the core of Pro Football Focus. “It’s a bit weird,”
Fuck yes PFF is only on a year-to-year basis, I thought that was pretty obvious? It's not a lifetime rating system, no preference points. It's simply how well a player played in each game, all year. Then it starts over again next year.
No more weird than a group of guys that love the Lions and decide to meet for a home opener weekend every year.A small group of friends who met through an online forum for NFL fans in the U.K. now form the core of Pro Football Focus. “It’s a bit weird,”
Some people would rather live in the past where the old "seat of my pants" assessment is still king. They don't want any data clouding up their decision making...No more weird than a group of guys that love the Lions and decide to meet for a home opener weekend every year.
How many business meetings and transactions are done over the Internet these days? Seems to be the norm in today's society. NFL teams are paying this company to give them info. Weird I know.
We could if you'd quit hating on the team.I just want to remain pals w TP when the Lions blow.
Now I'm not saying that it is still commonly accepted as "normal" by everyone, but the stigma that comes with meeting people online isn't what it used to be. Maybe back in '04 when his company started it was weird, but nowadays it's very common. Some people would rather live in the past where the old "seat of my pants" assessment is still king. Agreed. And the PFF rankings are only one piece of the puzzle, obviously. I think the reason so many people point towards them, though, is that they're a comprehensive rating that looks at everything, not just one statistical area...Now I'm not saying that it is still commonly accepted as "normal" by everyone, but the stigma that comes with meeting people online isn't what it used to be. I went to some of those, and, yeah, all of you are weird. Maybe not as weird as me, but still pretty fucking weird.

I shouldve quoted that....its from an article aPro Football Focus mines endless NFL data to find subtle advantages | The MMQB with Peter Kingbout PFF..No more weird than a group of guys that love the Lions and decide to meet for a home opener weekend every year.

Woah woah now- I got shitfaced on moderately price tequila last year and we've decided the whirly ball at the Joe Dumars fieldhouse is way nicer.15 guys getting drunk at noon on cheap booze in an dark and dirty building just north of 8 mile then driving around in tiny cards trying to kill each other?
Totally normal.
