What a beast hire man. USC could be scary soon. Caleb Williams and the top RB they have committed to OU should follow suit. They probably will never have a great defense though.

The timing was really unfortunate for OU.

They have recruiting classes that are more heavy on California kids than usual.
I imagine Riley takes a lot of the Cali kids with him.

And it will be open season from the rest of the Big 12 schools plus aTm/LSU/Alabama on the Texas kids decommiting.
OU has to move fast or they could be screwed badly.

USC is USC. It's not in Oklahoma and he only needs to lock up Cali recruiting. Pete Carroll USC teams were on par with Nick Saban's Bama. That's how good USC could be. Insane ceiling.

The Pac, as a football conference, sucks. He'll be able to dominate the conference much the way OU was able to dominate the Big 12, something OU wouldn't have been able to do in the SEC. Very much a vertical move now that OU is moving to the SEC.

OU wasn't even dominating the BigXII. He'll do fine in the PAC, but certainly won't dominate.
