Yea I'm not sure if that was simply making a statement for the team, or for the fans, or directly to Bell? Maybe not even a statement at all like you said. Ridley being the only player with experience behind Conner, you would think Tomlin would feel comfortable giving him some touches to give Conner a rest. I saw numerous times that Conner called off somebody from the sideline. Seems like it was more Conner's choice than anything.

Fair points...I've always felt the OC made that call if the player was ready willing and able, but with the weather conditions like they were I can see not wanting to hand the ball to a fresh player, but 36 is a bit much.

Hopefully we see SOME subs this week.

I agree. Conner may want it all but he has to be smart. This is a 16 game season and he can't be behaving like a fat kid at a buffet line. He's not going to go the distance averaging 36 touches per game.
