"record books? why take THOSE into account?"-ANTI-Lakers fans....

:wtf2:
What did I say shouldn't be taken into account?

My point was that some were much harder to earn then others.
They all hold equal weight historically, but modern day championships are much harder to achieve then they were ' back in the day', and especially the Minneapolis days.

The Cavs are nowhere near as good as people are making them out to be. They have 3 years minimum before they make it to a Finals. It takes time to learn how to play team ball.

Wrong thread or this because it seems more accurate then not IMO.

Anyway, 3 years might be too late.

1. Consider the potential Wizards situation.

2. Consider that the Lakers should have a ton of cap space in 2, plus a couple nice drafted players, and Love has always preferred to be there.

I think Love will go to the Cavs with the mindset of staying, but as we know, things change with these divas in a heartbeat.
If he demands opt outs like James, they are there for a reason(s).

its just crazy that what ended up happening was Wade was not healthy anyway and LeBron was worn down big time.

and i agree that the plan for Wade was apparent to everyone and it was a logical plan.

Where i think it broke down is that no one thought Bosh would become a straight perimeter player and not even get 7 rebounds a game, or draw fouls or bang in the post at all- and LeBron would have to do all that (besides the 20 minutes a game a mid-thirties Birdman would help out)

honestly- i cant wait to see how Bosh and Wade react to having to take charge again. It will be absolutely fascinating to watch- ESPECIALLY Bosh - since we all know that Wade has certain limitations because of his age and physical condition.

Wade's game had to take a back seat to Lebron. This is why Heat fans find you so comical when you discuss all the possibilities of Lebron/Irving/Love, yet you fail to realize that the big 3 experiment in Miami didn't exactly start off smoothly and there were times that they struggled.

Bosh had to modify his game as well so that he can stay out of the paint so that Lebron could drive the lane more freely. This, once again, makes it comical when you talk about Love's rebounding presence, as Lebron thrived off smaller lineups because it spread out the defense.

Wade has carried the Heat before. But in this instance, he won't have to do it with an improved supporting cast as well as another all-star in Bosh next to him (I say supporting cast referencing players like Granger, Deng, and McRoberts. In no way am I saying they're even remotely close to Lebron in skill set.)

Wade struggling in the Finals was more of how the Spurs defended the Heat as opposed to Wade struggling. During the first three rounds, Wade was pretty damn good. We'll see how Wade does now that he looks like he'll be shedding anywhere between 10-20 pounds. But Miami's not making the playoffs as a 6th seed. They'll likely be a 3rd/4th seed behind Cleveland and Chicago (if Rose stays healthy).

This one showed up in this thread.

The refs are the reason the Spurs could not miss in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

I forgot this one from the 2013 finals. The refs made the spurs miss late game fts and the refs also hit the corner 3 that tied the game

The other 29 teams in the league have formally agreed to turn the AC off whenever the Cavs come to town.
