Tier 4: Minnesota, Nebraska
Tier 6: Illinois, Indiana.

That's my opinion.

Regarding the top tier teams of the major conferences....I don't see clear separation from top tier teams between the conferences. They've all had great and poor performances. The entire AP Top 20 looks capable of making a run.

Again comparing Iowa who is safely in the tournament in the 6/7 seed range to a bunch of NIT teams is laughable.

iowa is way overrated. they just gave up 95 points to minnesota!! they caught osu during their slump and split with michigan. nothing else on the resume is impressive except to you team big10ers.

Never said they were a great team. What the hell has UGA, Ole Miss or LSU done other than have a lot worse resume than Iowa? And I'm not the only person to have them at the 6/7 line. That is where mostly every projection has them. You're seriously trying to compare UGA and Iowa. It's down right laughable.

I wouldn't put Georgia at Iowa's level.

While their performances against the top-100 are somewhat similar (Iowa is 7 - 8, Georgia is 5 - 7)...

Georgia has lost to 4 teams below RPI-100 (including 3 below RPI-150) while Iowa has blown out every team in that range.

Iowa hasn't even lost to a team outside the RPI top-50.

Nope. That's one of the things with Iowa. They may not be particularly good at closing out every game, but nobody easily beats them. Either way, Iowa is a tournament team and uga is not.

Both Iowa and Minn. played pretty well last night.. I don't uga would have wanted any part of either team.

Yeah you're right they are the same...except for the difference of 50 spots in the RPI and the fact that UGA will be lucky to make the NIT. And I could care less about what conferences are good and bad. The big 10 sucks at football and the SEC is the best. With that said the SEC is terrible in basketball. I mean it should speak volumes about the league that the 3rd place team is going to struggle to even make the NIT. You can't say that about the B1G, pac 12, ACC, Big 12, and hell even the A-10 and AAC.
