I believe it was a stress fracture which just let it rest without aggravating it. Which is why everyone knew PE1 was wrong about surgery.
Could he have kept playing? Seems like it. Since he wasnt even on the injury report leading up to his benching. Which is what led to manster poking PE1 with a stick (over exaggeration begets over exaggeration)
If they didnt have Big Dick Nick sitting in the winds to save the season, I am willing to bet Wentz would have played on. At least until they were eliminated from playoff contention.
