1. in two weeks since the "normalizing statement" the jays are 8-6
2. the jays score 10+ games in a row they also scored 8 6 7(2) 5 4 0 2 0 3 5 those are the run totals for two weeks full of games.
3. you sat up here and humped OBP% since the beginning of the season. do you know the jays OBP% in 17 games in may. (.332) (.262 BA) so yeah the offense is "normalizing"
So, for someone that humped sample size when we talked about 1/4 of the season, 17 games is now the bible!?
Take out the games where they scored 15 runs and what is the OBP - that is the point, piling on in a few games will make your 17 game totals look okay, but the aggregate is still awful- especially when you are giving up 6 runs per game.
Also, take out the three games where the Yankees played with no DH and what is the OBP% ? Lastly, the jays can have a better OBP over two weeks, the Yankees fans will just have to settle for increasing the lead in the division over the last place team.
