Half ppr, rank the following RBs, I have them in my order

Bonus pts for reasons why you rank them in your order and for any others I should consider adding over these guys

The fact this is bb. Safety doesn’t matter. I have Boston Scott to be the most likely to score enough points for his stats to count.

Scott - Eagles gonna be doing some nice running and Sanders can't do it all
Perine - Mixon racked up a ton of touches, even if he doesn't go down, good idea for Bungals to spread it out a bit
Hilliard - I do feel Henry is nearing that cliff, one chink in the armor generally leads to more
Davis - I can't imagine both Dobbs and Gus going down again, but, either one? Sure, and half the load in Baltimore is a lot.
D. Johnson- Hunt might be more involved in the real passing game, not just out of the backfield, which leaves Johnson to be Chubb's true handcuff (and Hunt isn't picture of health either)
Drake- didnt show much in Oakland, has never been worth a damn outside of running off the RPO with Murray
D. Williams- between Cpat, the rookie, the converted DB, and the probability that the Falcons are strongly in the running to be the leagues worst offensive team, I want no part of a 30 something satellite back.
J. White- I truly believe he's done, finito, and with no more Josh McD, and the drafting of Strong, I don't think there's a role for him in NE.

Any Eno Benji, or Dar. Williams...or Herbert, or Haskins, or D. Foreman or maybe even Sermon?? I'd put any of these dudes between Drake and Dam. Williams

Any of these guys that you have the starter would vault up the list, imo. Especially in best ball.

Dame Williams, James White, and Mike Davis went leading up to my pick, I took Perine

Hoping to land Boston Scott on the turn, need him to last 5 more picks

@TREFF those guys at the end of your list were all taken already except Eno Benjamin, but you forgot to pump Burkhead when I gave you the prefect chance!

Honestly. I would of picked perine if all those guys were on the board still. Cincy uses a true lead back, and perine is the main backup. That offense should put up big points again too.

Not sure i like Scott.
Eagles gave that UDFA RB nearly a quarter-million in guaranteed money which is a significant amount.
Is this sending a message that the Eagles are not happy with the backups like Scott? Just sends red flags imo.

Could be an indictment of Gainwell. Scott has been a very capable role player for the Eagles for quite some time, I think he's one of those types who is just gonna stick with the team and the team sticks with him. Low rent, loyal, does all the dirty work and asks for more

Practice squad money really. Here's what the players at the bottom of the pay scale make for the Eagles:

I suppose.
But arent contracts tiered also?
A player selected in round 1 is gonna make a lot more than a UDFA.
Veteran salaries increase also.
Why pay a rookie more than you have to? Unless you want to.
Maybe i'm reading too much into it?
It may be rare, but its not like it has never happened before for a UDFA to make an unexpected mark in the lineup.

UDFA can get some decent contracts because they are free to sign with anyone and competition for services drives up the cost. Yes some times one does make his mark, like Doug Baldwin for example.

In addition to what i mentioned, another point to consider, which was evident in this year's NFL draft (as well as the opinions in this forum) is that certain positions like RB dont hold the same value to NFL teams as they once did. Teams are finding starting RB in later rounds.

its not necessarily how much they signed him for, its the guaranteed money. While 240K plus 10K signing isn't unheard by any means, it is on the rarer side and does imply that they expect something from the guy.

Typical UDFA guaranteed money hovers in the 10k to 75k with 125k or more being laid out for the top of the class. Getting double that definitely has implications

I had no idea that some of those dudes..Nate Newton, Joe Jacoby, Drew Pearson- were undrafted. There's a handful every year that end up be solid contributors, starters, many of which are fantasy darlings for awhile too.
