Wow, the disrespect toward GusBus is outrageous.

Gus Edwards Proves He Can Still Be a No. 1 Running Back

Ravens film study: Gus Edwards, a backup, is maybe the NFL’s most efficient running back

Of Edwards’ 133 carries for 711 yards this season, just five have resulted in negative plays — none worse than a yard — and 11 for no gain at all. Dallas Cowboys star Ezekiel Elliott’s rate of yard-producing carries (88.7%) leads the NFL, but Edwards (88%) isn’t far behind.

"Gus, to me, is a starting running back in this league," Head Coach John Harbaugh said. "He continues to prove it. He proved it last year. To see him in there carrying the load like that, not surprising. Nobody thought for one second it would look any different."

Justice Hill
66 touches
295 yards
2 TDs

So weak it hurts.

Gus double the touches, double and a half the production.

As of this morning, Trayveon is ranked ahead of Rodney.

Apparently Mixon learning nothing from Melvin Gordon last season.

Gordon thing was really weird though, i don't think many situations are very comparable to MG3's because he still had 2yrs left on his deal when he held out.

That just doesn't make sense - you don't have any leverage in that scenario. RBs threatening to hold out need to be on the final year of their deal to have any pull in negotiations. Otherwise, teams tell you to get bent, and see you next off season, lol.

I guess part of it comes down to what he's looking for, has there been any rumors as to what he's looking for?

I mean, Gio is making 4+ million, Mixon is at 1.2...obviously a raise is in order.
But, is he looking for CMAC/Bell money, 15-16 mill?
Or Zeke/Henry money, 10-12 mill?
Or Gordon money, 7-8mil?

There really shouldn't be a problem if its anywhere in the area of Gordon up and into the Zeke/Henry area. Beyond that though, he's probably dreaming

I havent heard that. But i think hes nuts to think hes gonna get cmac bell money.............

hes as talented IMHO as zeke and henry, in a worse a situation and has had injuries. When healthy his numbers are actually really reallly really good, on a very very very bad team.......

Im anti paying rb's, but his 3 down skill set, and advantage in the passing game, he should be in the market to get 7-11 million........give him a 3 year deal with 2 years front loaded, like 20-22 guaranteed, take a big hit this year with all the cap room, then incentives and outs afterwards.........

just my thoughts

if hes seeking higher annual value than that, hes sorely mistaken

If joe mixon wouldnt of KO'd that girl, he would been a high first rounder.....
