If an NFL team is going to move to Las Vegas, it's going to be for a state-of-the-art stadium like Sheldon Adelson is proposing. Boyd stadium could be a temporary home, but an NFL team would NEVER agree to it long term. Name of the game these days is to have the best, newest, coolest stadium around. That's why Kroenke moved to L.A., he can now build the stadium complex people dream of...

I understand that...but Oakland has had a few proposals & offers for a state of the art top notch modern stadium on the table. It seems the raider ownership wanted the city/county to pay for most of the bill....which is BS. He's trying to extort Oakland...and believes they'll fall for the bait by having the Sheldon Adelson and his dirty money bags behind him. I say fuck Mark Davis..if he wants to leave the bay area...good riddance. He & that team don't deserve or need a new stadium in Vegas.

* BTW: Isn't the NFL on the record as being against any franchise moving to sin city, or placing an expansion team there?

Believe it or not, Shelly isn't all the dirty, especially in Vegas standards. I was there when he was building the Palazzo and EVERYONE was convinced it was going to be a failure, it wasn't, it's a HUGE success. I also know quite a few employees at the Venetian/Palazzo and they're treated even better than the union guys at other casinos. The guy is doing something right in that town and if there's ANYONE to back this project, Sheldon Adelson is the right guy...
