1) Saying in public for the world to hear, that you want a league where white people will not be allowed. Asking for segregation in a new league;

2) Saying in private that you don't want your girlfriend making public appearances with black people.

#1 is much worse. Now let me also say this - #2 is very bad. There should be no place in the NBA for Sterling; He should be forced out of the league; He is garbage as a human being. Now let me say this: Ditto that to Larry Johnson.

:10::agree: well said.

Larry Johnson isn't a problem. It would be easy to get rid of Larry Johnson if need be. With Don Sterling you have to think outside the box.

And do you know what is crazy?

D Sterling received not one but two lifetime achievement awards from the LOS ANGELES NAACP

he bought those awards.

LA NAACP is a joke and as corrupt and self serving as they get.

Investigate them.

No one in the media will go after Larry Johnson because they are all a bunch of PC cowards!

It doesn't take any guts to go after Sterling. It's now just to the point of jumping on a bandwagon and piling on.

Going after a minority who makes racist remarks would take real guts in the year 2014,

And none of them have it!

So Sterling is being fined $2.5 mil. and they are going to force the sale of the Clippers (if I'm hearing correctly). Reckon how hard they come down on LD... errrr LJ?

They won't do a damn thing because they don't have the guts!

Fine get rid of Larry Johnson, he wasn't the problem Don Sterling was. Larry Johnson is just a troll on Twitter, Don Sterling is actually a major shot caller. It was more important to address Don Sterling.

I wonder what the league would do if a black owner said this about white people, basically in Sterling's role? :noidea:

Not a fair question Johnny. Only Black owner is Jordan and the NBA won't do anything to Jordan. Not because he's Black but because he's Jordan.

But, reverse this role, would the justice or penalty be the same if it was a black owner and not a white? That's what i'm saying.

I don't agree with Sterling or Johnson's comments, but if you ban one, ban the other.

I just think LJ went a little more over the top with his comment, than Sterling did.

I'm fine with getting rid of both but Larry Johnson isn't a major player in the league like Don Sterling was. I think the Knicks should handle Larry Johnson.

Knicks would be stupid to not fire him.

I'm just trying to play Devil's advocate here. I don't think either of them should be involved in the NBA anymore. Just need to see things from both sides.

I see it from both sides, I found both of their comments offensive, just that one is a league wide problem while the other could be addressed by a single franchise. Why make Larry Johnson a league wide issue when they don't have to? Just have the Knicks handle it.

Yea. Unless the league was going to say something to Sterling, who else would? Some executive in the organization underneath him? :noidea:

Yeah with Sterling only the NBA had the power to remove him. With Larry Johnson there's another outlet which won't cause such a media stir.

But it's not like Sterling owned multiple teams, it's mainly a problem for the Clippers. All he said was he didn't want his wife seen at games with Magic Johnson, unless i'm missing more of it, not sure :noidea:

Both, need to be let go of their positions and I can agree on that.
