as much as I love seeing the Lakers lose to the Heat on Christmas there are a ton more qualified teams than the Lakers to play on Christmas.

Maybe this is really punishment...Heat for assembling the Big 3 and the Lakers for sucking so bad? hahaha jk

but seriously they are the 2 most popular teams and most well known so it makes sense to make them play on christmas.

New franchise...ish bring them some fame and with the Heat they will bring a ton of ratings not to mention all the story lines with the Cs old 2 going to Brooklyn.

Giving Brooklyn some publicity would help the NBA no doubt.

I agree, but until we see the scope of the entire schedule, it is hard to say who should be where.

What doesn't make sense to me is why the Heat would be on the West Coast Christmas Day because they always are out there mid January when the circus is at the AAA.
