Read a stat that this is the first time Akers had that many carries in a game since the Divisional round against TB last year.

That is all on McVay and his playcalling.

No excuse for that.

It's also on Akers and getting in McVay's doghouse. The Rams have averaged just under 24 rush attempts per game, they just haven't been focused on one back.
