I have a feeling Mitch is still going to wield his magic wand and come up with a GREAT trade that doesn't involve the young core.
Nick Young for Russell Westbrook straight up.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm over from another forum that I've been posting at for years. It didn't really have an active Lakers forum, so I'm happy to find one here!
Looking forward to chatting about the team for the first time in quite awhile.

if you're down for the Lakers you're ALREADY cool with me...
Glad that horrible AV is gone now mate!
Some (ESPN) are now suggesting that Sacre may be on par with Mosgov and the Lakers paid way too much for Mosgov. The key admission is that Luke thinks Mosgov is a "perfect fit" for the Lakers under Walton.

I think everyone agrees that the Lakers overpaid for Mosgov even if that is all he is expected to do CL67. Could have save a couple of 5-10 million or maybe more and still got the same Timofey. Perhaps.

Not really. People are over-reacting because he was the first big man signed.
If you look at the contracts other big men have received.....his deal wasn't that bad. Ian Mahinmi got the same deal (4 years and 64 mill) and Noah got 4 years and 72 million. Miles Plumlee was grossly overpaid at 4 years and 52 million.
Mozgov's contract is just about fair market value. It would be about 10-11 million per season under last season's salary cap. He was signed to be a rim protector and rebounder while mentoring Zublocka.
