Stealth tank job by the Lakers front office. Hire a shitty coach who will let the brokendown Kobe chuck away at his delight. This will result in a large pile of losses this season bettering their chance of keeping that pick.

This. I've liked to believe that some teams "tank" especially this year's Sixers but I've not yet seen a game where they haven't given a shit ton of effort only to lose. Doesn't seem like they're on board with the idea. Which I'm fine with.

Notice that they didn't decide to clamp down until after the Laker game ... they didn't want to be missing him during their best chance for a win.

That was fun to watch. He'll likely have a few more games like this as the season goes on. Got to enjoy them when we can get them.

Ben Simmons, most likely. Haven't seen a lot of him, or much at all actually, but I've heard a ton about him and unless Skal Labissiere gets better throughout the season (he's STRUGGLED for UK so far), it'll probably be Simmons.

Would start watching games from those guys. I just hope they get good next year.
