What part about that is overly harsh to you? Pointing out a player's faults isn't the same thing has saying I hate the player. He can score. They'll be games where he's ok. They'll be lots of others where he's not ok. That's just being fair and realistic about his game and what he actually brings to the table. What makes me neutral on it is that I don't think he has any significant impact one way or the other on the team.

Yeah, I like the signing. I certainly don't think it's significant, but it addresses a need. For him to have any kind of real impact though, the Lakers will have to figure out a way to maximize his offense while minimizing his lack of defense.

If he does well, I could see him being someone the Lakers keep around on an inexpensive deal for points off the bench. If he doesn't, he's another 1 year guy who won't be invited back.

I respect Paul George. He would have been a Laker if not for the trade. This situation can happen with Leonard as well. Thank goodness for the draft and freeagency, these teams will cut off thier noses despite of their faces to not di business with the Lakers.

But, Portland over-achieved and with the way the WC is....I think they drop off. And Minny with their drama? Think they could miss postseason.

Denver and LA are the 2 teams I see replacing them.

New Lakers jerseys

Pros: Could be lighting (and its hard to tell on screen without seeing it live in game nowadays), but it appears they have gone back to the traditional gold as opposed to that god awful neon banana shit they had last year for the home yellows.

Cons: WTF is up with that hideous black stripe on the sides of the Purple roadies?

TBD: They better go back to wearing the whites on Sundays and on holidays instead of random ass times of the year

The jerseys this year are nice, with the exception of the black stripe on the purple roadies. Love the old shadowing. Can't wait to see what they replace last year's Mamba jersey with. Those were sweet.
