Lakers 2018 Off-Season Thread

It's only been 1 day, but the reports about yesterdays practice sessions are encouraging.

Apparently there has been a lot more communication and back and forth between the players and coaches as far as asking questions, making suggestions, etc.

From what I read, the kids were kind of quiet during practices last year. This year, with the vets on the team, there's a lot more talk.

I guess Lebron got it started during a defensive closeout drill by asking if he was using the correct hand.

His resume includes being 21. Playing 4 years of college ball. Played in the FIBA national team in 2014 when he was 17. Uhhh kid can play. Hes ready, keep an eye on him. Putting him with Kuz off the bench. My oh my.

Magic and Pelinka have done a damn good job at drafting and their FAs have not been too shabby either. Magic is building a jauggernaut and the return of the dominant Lakers may indeed be imminent!!

It's going to be both exciting and interesting. The only thing I'm concerned about is that it is kind of an odd mix of FA's that they brought in with Lebron.

I think it could work really well or be a colossal mess. Fortunately, they are on 1 year deals, trying to get one more deal with someone. Hopefully, that mean they will be on their best behavior.

If any of them do act the fool, hopefully the Lakers will be quick to get rid of them.

I totally agree TJF12. This could be a dominant team or it could be a mess. Hopefully Magic will step in if it goes tio the latter.
