Not really.

I've already showed how Kyrie is a minor upgrade on IT in a few areas.

How underrated Crowder is.

And that they're still not the favorites over CLE. shortening a window when they still hvae the Warriors to deal with anyway.

You keep living in this fantasy world where Kyrie is better than GH even though that's clearly not true. And then make personal attacks about it.

LOL... "shortening a window"

That made me LOL.

hmmmm......

that seems a little low considering he was, what All NBA 2nd team?

Id prob put him right inside the top 30.

Yeah, he's a great scorer. There are 30 guys I'd take over him, pretty easily.

You say that Danny is a disaster and is getting by on what he did in the 2000's.

Yet, you're complaining about getting rid of

Thomas

Crowder

Brooklyn pick

Who were all assets that were acquired well after the 2000s. via trade... by the same guy that you just said hasn't done anything since the 2000s. (troll alert 1)

He stole Thomas. Stole Crowder. Stole the Brooklyn picks. Those same assets you're crying about losing were stolen by the same GM who you're saying hasn't done shit. (troll alert 2)

Turned two Brooklyn picks into two players that everyone I know of is over the moon about. You're the first and only person I've ever seen to shit on them (troll alert 3)

Finally, and my personal favorite? 3 seasons ago the Celtics were one of the 5 worst teams in the NBA. Today they're one of the five best. Ainge has built a team that is now a destination for free agents when it has, literally, ever been in the past. Has a nucleus of young talent beyond Hayward/Horford/Irving. The best young coach the NBA has seen in a long time. And outside of the scope of your opinion? Is considered by many now to be the favorites to come out of the east. (troll alert 4)

So, either you're dumb as fuck. Or you're trolling. I gave you the benefit of the doubt.

Danny won a few big trades. I said that. But he lost quite a few. And his draft record is spotty. Those are facts. I believe he still hasn't drafted an all star.

Neither of those guys was considered the consensus 3rd best player in the draft. Not even close really.

Brad is amazing. Him landing Hayward (and you giving the credit to Danny even though Hayward himself said it was BS) was huge.

But this team still isn't ready to compete with GS. So sacrificing it's biggest future asset plus a guy who was a top 20 player in RPM for a SMALL upgrade, is not smart.

that's just called logic. Please try to use it.

Or just keep with the personal attacks. Cause you don't have anything to com back with besides those.

Yea... I can vouch for this.

@The Q for the past couple of years: "Trade IT"

@The Q now: "Damn it, they traded IT"

:D Just razzing you, Q.

Trading IT doesn't mean give away the farm for a small upgrade.

Even IT and Crowder would be an overpay based on basic NBA math and analytics.

Yeah, I wouldn't argue with someone who had one above the other. But to say one is VASTLY better than the other is laughable. If you said Kyrie was that much better than Klay, you'd obviously only be looking at one side of the court.

Put Klay on any other team and he'd see much different defenses. If he was the man, he's going to have a lot harder time getting the looks he does sharing the court with the guys he does right now.

LeBron uses everyone like a sock puppet...hes LeBron

but Crowder is one of a handful of guys in the league who isnt a complete mismatch.....

I mean- you have some elite guys like Kawhi etc.....but Crowder is a solid wing defender with some size and grit.

I love how Crowder will be able to handle opposing wings to give Bron a break. Shumpert wasnt cutting it- lemme tell ya

Crowder was a complete mismatch this past year.

You of all people should understand why it's not just a small upgrade. It's a sizable one, literally.

IT's size made him not just a defensive liability... but a total target that often undermined the team defensive dynamic. This was especially true in the playoffs where the opposition came up with specific designs to exploit IT.

Crowder was expendable because of the glut the C's have at the wing... I liked Crowder, but his loss is easy to stomach.

Yeah, that must be it.

(they have the youngest roster in the NBA)

And Kyrie is gone in 2 years ( you can't just assume he's going to stay when evaluating a deal, especially when you look at it logically since he wanted to leave CLE to be "the man" and he won't be the man in Boston either), and Horford is already in his decline, GH is going to be 30.

They need those chances to find the superstar.

Kyrie is not a superstar. No matter how much you stamp you feet, plug your ears and try to yell it. He's not. I've shown that in a few places here.

GH really isn't either. And the team still has a lack of size. It needs those elite picks to add some premium talent, especially in the front court. These 2 years were not the window, but danny is making it that with this move.

Kyrie doesn't play any defense either.

Otherwise you'd have a point.

He's a small upgrade in the grant scheme of things.

Of course, if Isaiah's hip gives out, it's a big L for Cleveland also.

But on paper as it stands now, and I think the assumption is that the BKN pick will be top 5, that is an overall win for Cleveland.

Whatever happens, I hope it ends with LeBron getting his ass on a plane out West.

Contract, age, health and height make this an absolute no brainer, even with giving up Crowder. The pick is reason why, if I could go back I time and erase the trade, I would.

His draft record is just fine for a guy who consistently picks mid to late 1st round.

Not spectacular. Not awful.

I can't think of a trade of significance that he's lost.

The only thing that comes to mind is dealing Perkins for Green. Which messed with team chemistry, but he still netted the much better player in the deal.

If you think one single random unknown 2018 draft pick is a bigger future asset than Brown or Tatum, the best thing I can say to you is that I wildly and completely and totally disagree.

Further, there is right now zero evidence that Brooklyn pick is going to be more valuable than the LAL/Kings pick.

Tatum isn't in the same class as the top 5 players in the 2018 draft.

You tell me. Is he trolling or is he stupid?

Calling 1 year of IT, one unknown Brooklyn pick and Jae Crowder "the farm" is either stupid or troll.

You tell me.

If Tatum works out, the Celtics could be peaking right when the Warriors are forced to shake things up.

Don't think they're much better off this year - if at all - but then again, that's probably not the point of this.
