I'd say that it's not entirely unfair to say that Thompson is a better fit for what the Warriors do. But Irving is a vastly superior basketball player.

Depends really on what you value as a player. As a #1, Kyrie is better. As a #2 or worse, Klay IMO is significantly better because of his play on both sides of the ball.

I think Kyrie is a phenomenal player, but flawed.

You keep using that word....it doesn't mean what you think it means.

Ask @Gman i've been critical of Danny's moves for a while now.

But again, you're clueless so all you can do is personal.

Try to keep up.

I think thats pretty accurate.

IF I needed an alpha id rather have Kyrie- if i already had an alpha id rather have Klay since he plays both sides of the ball and seems less inclined to whine about not being the alpha.

No, you just can't keep up.

Just cause danny hasn't done a good job with his picks doesn't mean he should give them all away.

That's just a ridiculous take.

You're getting schooled cause you don't know what you're talking about. You're out classed.

But you're a patriots fan so I'd probably have to explain that to you anyway.

When I say "you should mask the trolling better" that didn't mean "completely abandon any pretense of being real and just go full troll"

It meant, well the exact opposite of that.

No, if I was being personal I would just call you stupid and be done with it. Me calling you a troll is me trying to give you the benefit of the doubt that you're not stupid, but you are just trolling for attention.

If you want to go with stupid, we can go with stupid.

Because you're certainly saying very stupid things.

I can get behind that too.

Not really.

I've already showed how Kyrie is a minor upgrade on IT in a few areas.

How underrated Crowder is.

And that they're still not the favorites over CLE. shortening a window when they still hvae the Warriors to deal with anyway.

You keep living in this fantasy world where Kyrie is better than GH even though that's clearly not true. And then make personal attacks about it.

I really like the combination of Isiah Thomas and Derek Rose at PG for the Cavs.

Considering that Kyrie was leaving- I hve to say- thats a pretty solid position.

Both guys have injury issues- but neither guy is going to have to play 35 minutes a night and go balls to the wall.

Each guy will have other scorers around him like Bron, Love, Jr, Korver etc. to take the scoring pressure off---- in Chicago Rose really didnt have that 2nd scoring option till Butler came around and by that time Rose had been injured and was no longer a top 10 player (or anything close to it). In Boston - i guess Isiah's best support scorer was who? Horford or Bradley????

The shooting guard position- will most likely be manned by a combination of Jr Smith, Kyle Korver, and eventually Dwade....hey- that osunds good

the SF position looks like itll be LeBron, Crowder and Jefferson

the PF/C position some kind of rotation of Love, TT, Green, Osman, Frye.....unless they make another move.

looks pretty solid to me.

Crowder goes from being one of the better options at guarding LeBron to being a pretty good option to guarding Hayward.

Now- you either have to have Hayward guard LeBron- or give the Job to a 20 year old Brown or a 19 year old Tatum.....I think Brown and Tatum will eventually be very good options at covering lebron---- but LeBron will eat them alive at this point in their careers.

You say that Danny is a disaster and is getting by on what he did in the 2000's.

Yet, you're complaining about getting rid of

Thomas

Crowder

Brooklyn pick

Who were all assets that were acquired well after the 2000s. via trade... by the same guy that you just said hasn't done anything since the 2000s. (troll alert 1)

He stole Thomas. Stole Crowder. Stole the Brooklyn picks. Those same assets you're crying about losing were stolen by the same GM who you're saying hasn't done shit. (troll alert 2)

Turned two Brooklyn picks into two players that everyone I know of is over the moon about. You're the first and only person I've ever seen to shit on them (troll alert 3)

Finally, and my personal favorite? 3 seasons ago the Celtics were one of the 5 worst teams in the NBA. Today they're one of the five best. Ainge has built a team that is now a destination for free agents when it has, literally, ever been in the past. Has a nucleus of young talent beyond Hayward/Horford/Irving. The best young coach the NBA has seen in a long time. And outside of the scope of your opinion? Is considered by many now to be the favorites to come out of the east. (troll alert 4)

So, either you're dumb as fuck. Or you're trolling. I gave you the benefit of the doubt.

The part of the trade that is actually the most beneficial to the Cavs is now the added assets they have on the trade market. Previous, you only really had Frye as an expiring. Now you have Brooklyn's 1st and you also have Crowder who's on a real cap friendly deal and talented too. Could put together some decent packages for players.

Yeah, I wouldn't argue with someone who had one above the other. But to say one is VASTLY better than the other is laughable. If you said Kyrie was that much better than Klay, you'd obviously only be looking at one side of the court.

Did you watch the Eastern Conference finals this past May?

LeBron used Crowder like a fucking sockpuppet.

supposedly- from what I read-- the CAvs could have had Paul George if they were willing to trade an unprotected 1st rounder far into the future--- but they didn want the risk

you are right though---

if the Cavs really wanted to- a package of an expiring like Frye, Crowder and his insanely good deal (3 years 20M), and that pick- would be as good a package as anyone could hope to get for an estranged star.

If I am Memphis and not that great- id jump on that in an instant for Gasol.

Prob still not enough to tempt the Pelicans for Anthony Davis though... :(

LeBron uses everyone like a sock puppet...hes LeBron

but Crowder is one of a handful of guys in the league who isnt a complete mismatch.....

I mean- you have some elite guys like Kawhi etc.....but Crowder is a solid wing defender with some size and grit.

I love how Crowder will be able to handle opposing wings to give Bron a break. Shumpert wasnt cutting it- lemme tell ya

Yea... I can vouch for this.

@The Q for the past couple of years: "Trade IT"

@The Q now: "Damn it, they traded IT"

:D Just razzing you, Q.
