O/U on how long that conversation lasted. 30 seconds?
I'm 100% sure Bob Myers countered with a Lebron for Zaza Pachulia. Both make about equal sense.

A report says Milwaukee had an offer on the table for Kyrie of Middleton, Brogdon, and 1st round pick.
Probably explains why the Celtics had to include the BKN pick to make this happen.
Of course, if Isaiah's hip gives out, it's a big L for Cleveland also.It remains to be seen if Cleveland won it.
If the Nets are decent and this pick ends mid-late lottery and Thomas walks in free agency? The Cavs will have gotten creamed.
Cleveland is assuming risk to be sure.
Probably been pointed out, but I can't catch up on 20+ pages of comments:
Just shows how much of a shit deal the Pacers got for Paul George. There is the added factor of Kyrie having multiple years left on his deal, but even half of this deal would have still been much better than Oladipo and Sabonis.
The reason it didn't work is because Irving and Lebron are ball dominant. And by not working, meaning Love didn't get to fulfill his full potential in the role he has. IT, although he probably gets along with Love more, is going to be in the exact same position. He's ball dominant and is going to have to figure that part out with Lebron while also factoring Love in with his touches. Same exact thing happened in Miami with Bosh as it related to Wade and Lebron, whom are both ball dominant.
Yeah, there's just not nearly enough potential upside to risk taking an all-time great team and shaking things up. Makes no sense for them.
Plus, while Kyrie might be the better 1st option than Klay, Klay is a million times better as a 3rd option than Kyrie. He's great without needing the ball - which is exactly what you want when Curry and Durant are already on the team.
Yes, I said earlier that I see you're trolling.
Or yours

You have nothing to back yours us.
I've posted RPm and another article about how this is a minor upgrade in exchange for premium assets.
The celtics do this deal AND STILL aren't the favorites in the east.
The Cavs would hang up and laugh if they got offered Klay for Irving. Please get serious.
Not to mention there's a HUGE gap in defense between the two. Klay's defense is essential to what the Warriors do. Having a back court of Curry and Kyrie would be monstrous defensive liability.
If you want to catch bait, you have to mask the trolling better.
You're repeatedly contradicting yourself in your own posts. Pissing on your own proverbial feet.
No.
I'm just not an ignorant homer who thinks Tom Brady and BB don't cheat or that danny ainge never makes a mistake.
He screeed the pooch here.
And he's lucky Brad landed him Hayward or this would've been a complete dumpster fire of an offseason.
