i forgot--- was the trade isiah for kyrie straight up?

remind me?

its funny that the Cavs will be the favorites to go to the Finals-- YET STILL have a better asset than anything on Miami with the Brooklyn pick. ;)

find somewhere that says the Cavs didnt win this trade. lol......

no way can anyone objectively say the Cavs arent better today than yesterday both their chances to win the title- and their chances to retain lebron.

enjoy .500

Fuck a future lotto pick, assuming James leaves.
That keeps you as a lotto team.

As far as this year, as of now, it's Kyrie for I.T., Crowder.
Please don't tell me that you think that gives the Cavs a better chance against the Warriors.

Another reminder.
Where's I.T.?

This list- at least mine- takes into account the whole package- age, talent, ceiling, work ethic, attitude, how good of a teammate etc. but with the MOST weight on how they will contribute to their team THIS year.

1. LeBron James
2. Steph Curry
3. Russell Westbrook
4. Kawhi Leonard
5. Kevin Durant
6. Paul George
7. Anthony Davis
8. CP3
9. Kyrie Irving
10. Jimmy Butler
11. Blake Griffin
12. Klay Thompson
13. James Harden
14. John Wall
15. Andre Drummond
16. D. Lillard
17. D. Cousins
18. L. Aldridge
19. KA Towns
20. D. Jordan
21. A. Horford
22. K. Lowry
23. D. Green
24. G. Antetekuompo
25. C. Anthony

Or:

if its prisoner of the momeny though- i dont know how lillard is higher than lowry- lowry is having phenomnal year....the blazers are a mess and lillard is prob the worst defensive pg this side of isiah thomas (and yes i know irving isnt far behind but hes better than those 2 defesnively!)

LOL.

You just lost your window for title contention and you don't even know it.
How? You have NO idea what Brown and Tatum will develop into, Kyrie and Hayward are both still young, and maybe we get a no 2 or 3 pick next year. Plus, we still have other picks. The loss of the Nets pick sucks, but it doesn't doom the franchise dude.

Celtics still have enough pieces to make another huge deal. I wouldn't discount that. They could end up with another Star to near star player before the end of the season and they could challenge the Dubs in 7. I got a good feeling about Tatum too.

Challenge the Warriors? Are they getting LeBron or Kawhi in that deal?

And someone asked if I have been drinking. LOL.

Hypocrite.
lol...dont be so butt hurt DJ

there is a difference between saying a guy is a joke as a starter and supposed all star---- and being a bench player.

its the same thing with Dwade--- as a starter and someone that is one of the best in the league-- that WAVED BYE BYE long ago---

but as a guy coming off the bench for 25 minutes a game? he would be a GREAT pickup.

why you cant understand that is beyond me.

True on Brown and Tatum.

Still doesn't change facts. This was a huge overpay.

While it doesn't doom you, I think it absolutey gives you a ceiling that wasn't there before. Because Irving and Hayward are not 1 and 2 options on a championship team in the super team era.

and I was exactly right.

the beauty of playing with LeBron with a competent backup like Rose is that Thomas isnt going to have to play balls to the wall every night.

the game is going to get so much easier for him. He will have LeBron. He will have 3 pt shooting better than he has ever played with around him. He will have better big men than he has ever played with with Love and TT.

Isiah doesnt have to be All NBA isiah ---- its the brilliance of playing with LeBron.

as i said---- the game is gonna get harder for Kyrie since hes leaving LeBron- and the game is going to get easier for Isiah playing with LeBron.

if anyone should know that- you think you would be one of those people.

Isn't I.T. in a contract year, seeking a max next summer?
Besides that, it's his personality. He'll play hard.

Banking on D. Rose. Good luck.

Brlliance of playing with LeBron. Maybe for some, not for all.
Ask Kyrie.
I.T. needs the ball.
You think James is giving it to his 5' 6" new buddy when it matters?

I cant WAIT to see the LeBron/Kyrie matchups

Kyrie is practically unstoppable offensively and he is gonna be super motivated

Isiah though is gonna hav ea chip on his shoulder the size of the city of Boston--- to be the guy to drag them to the conference Finals -leave it all on the court- and then to be dealt he has to be furious. In a contract year--- you are gonna see that mother fucker breathing fire when he plays the Celtics.

Celtics have lost Isiah, Crowder and Bradley- the 3 guys who i thought gave them their identiy--- id rather have Kyrie and Hayward than those 3- but you have to rebuild y our defense and culture--- and your front court rotation is still pretty awful.

I gotta think they make some kind of a deal for a PF or center---- because the CAvs with Thompson and Love will still eat the Celtics alive on the boards.

LeBron will prob be sipping coffee on the bench.

As far as Boston, they lost a lot of their personality chasing Kyrie, Hayward.
I'm not sure if they'll be that much better, if better at all.

Lol

You'll see.

Statistically it appears to be a wash, Irving is a bit younger and 6" taller so the hope for Celtic fans will be that he can play a bit of defense. We know that Isiah Thomas can't guard me.

That pick from Brooklyn isn't going to be the only good draft pick Cleveland has in the next few years.
