IT will be a beast in 2020 if he can stay healthy. He's still improving. But, Kyrie is the better player, straight up I take him all day. I don't even mind throwing in Crowder, he's a nice piece but as @Gman said, he is by no means irreplaceable.

My problem is the pick, that fuckin pick man! :gaah:

Vyle you now have your go to player . Look at his stats against GS. We still have two picks in first round next year, and the year after too

They added some talent and play in the EC.....they aren't going to be top 5-6 bad.....
who is worse DJ?

In the West the only teams that are bad are the Lakers, Kings and Suns. The Lakers have no pick next year and are going to want to be respectable to try and entice free agents so they wont be tanking. The Kings I actually think are decent signing Hill, and with some of the moves they made...i mean they are bad--- but they arent Nets bad.

the Suns are not good- but i mean- id much rather have Bledsoe and Booker than anyone on the Nets.

The Nets are easily one of the worst teams in the league.

I think the WORST team is probably Orlando. Hawks might be 2nd worst- or the Nets.

If i were to bet--- id bet the Nets are 4th worst

1. Orlando
2. Suns
3. Hawks
4. Nets
5. Bulls
6. Kings
7. Lakers
8. Dallas
9. Knicks
10. Pacers
11. Pistons
12. Nuggets

I can see it this way. But I can see teams like the Nets finishing with a better record than the Bulls and Kings. The Kings playing in the west will really hurt them. Also if the Knicks trade Melo early enough in the season, they can fall in that top 6 range as well. Will be close IMO.

That pick can be a top 3 pick or it can be the 6th or 7th pick of the draft

Irving/Hayward will be 1a, 1b, that could work nicely. I think they're better than they were last year.

Marginally.

But NOT because of the trade. Because the they signed Hayward.

If you view the Celts off-season as Kyrie, Hayward, Tatum and Morris for IT, Crowder, Bradley and Nets pick, it is a win.

But, you already had the pick to acquire Tatum and you got Hayward for free. This trade only hurts the long term for the Celts and removes a ton of future upside that pick could have become.

true- but i can also see the Suns being better - and who knows with Atlanta- at least Budz is a good coach

I mean- who knows--- I think they will be anywhere from 2nd worst to 7th worst....but we shall see

injuries will spring up----- the Nets are basically a whole new team with Russell and Crabbe and Mozgov---

itll be fascinating to watch thats for sure.

I think the Knicks actually think LeBron might go to New York and will try...which is insanity- but hey- it is the Knicks...justhaving Melo and Porzingis should mean they are better than the Nets. Nkiltana looks like a solid wing too.

Bulls are VERY VERY young--- but they have more talent with LaVine, Dunn, Lopez, Markenen, Portis, Payne etc....

itll be interesting.

The offense is much better now. Last year all anyone had to do was stop a 5'9" pg, who had the ball and everyone knew was gonna shoot it. It speaks volumes to how crafty Isaiah is that he was able to put up the numbers he did.

You guys don't think Hayward/Kyrie is harder to gameplan? We still added Morris, who will lessen the pain of Crowder being gone, and Baynes who can rebound the ball even when another decent opposing rebounder is on the floor. Tatum will have to grow up fast, but he's got very translatable skills and should be able to score. Brown should take a nice step forward either side of the ball. Bradley is a big loss defensively, but I still think we got better. I'd put vcash on it if I had any.

good thing they have the owner willing to write the biggest checks in NBA history.

Will he get $40M per year? I dont think so, maybe $35M?

Um, you have been mocking Rose for years with his injuries.....now he's good?
Rose as a #1 option deserves to be mocked mercilessly as a joke

Rose as a pg coming off the bench 25 minutes a game is fucking brilliant- .

just keep in mind

one guy is leaving lebron james--- one guy is joining lebron james

the game is about to get a lot easier for isiah thomas--- and the game is about to get harder for kyrie irving

when Isiah Thomas is on the court with LeBron James and Kyle Korver is in one corner and Kevin Love is in the other corner- what does the defense do? besides shit their pants?
