I've always felt that with guys like Lebron, Melo, & Kobe, you need to pair them with PG(s), SG(s), or SF(s) who are perimeter shooters & not scorers. Guys who don't need the ball in their hands & who can hit jump shots. Those 3 players dominate the ball the majority of the time that there is no need to a ball handling scoring PG.

As close as he'll get to Westbrook is coming up to ask "Mister Westbrook can I hold your jock" only to hear "No you're not that good".

Negative....Westbrook's team won the West.

Kyrie's team won the draft lottery.

OKC is Durant's team. Westbrook was just along for the ride!:laugh3:

Dude, they are 1a and 1b.

Don't act like Westbrook is Nick Collison:lol:

Riddle me this...

Where would the Cavs be if they had Rondo at the pg position instead of Kyrie?

This might be breaking news for the Ohio faithful.

But, starting pg's are supposed to have at least 1 assist per game.:omg:

Hey why Rondo? Stop messin' w/ the Celtics! A better idea is CP3 in Cleveland & Kyrie runnin' your Clippers!

Exactly! Horns and I have been preaching this for years.

Scoring and even top PGs are overrated. The last time a top PG led a team to a championship, was Isaiah Thomas.

Given this team's roster:

When LeBron is on the floor... LeBron should be the pg. If Kyrie is out there he should focus more on being a shooter within the team offense. (which he can be very good at)

When LeBron is off the floor, and Kyrie is in... then he can be Kyrie, the scoring point guard. Then it becomes a bonus... a good thing, as long as he is doing it fairly efficiently.. which he has proven he can.

Of course, that's a big time generalization... but that's my feelings right now.

Westbrook plays defense.

It would probably be more appropriate to say Irving is like Westbrook on offense and Steve Nash/WNBA player/traffic cone on defense

Still, this team will be a top 4 seed in the East when all is said and done. Give it time

So his name should be Kyrie Nash Westbrook?

Yeah I don't think anybody is debating that they're a top 2 seed out East.

Not sure how great this roster is though and lack of playoffs experience will hurt in the in April, May, & June

Depends on the depth out East. Its not hard to come up with scenarios where a few veterans go down and they dont have much competition till the Finals.

Irving reminds me of Allen Iverson the way he plays.

Hard to picture them winning it all.

Never been a fan of Waiters and neither is the Cavs coach.

Miller is one dimensional.

Kyrie needs the ball in his hand to be effective.

No rim protector.

Hard to see the Cavs or Heat winning it all. Just my opinion.
