Our neighbor had a nice major league career in baseball and he spent 3 years in the minors, starting in A, quickly moving to AA and then to AAA before making the Big Time where he stuck and did quite well. I asked him about the experience he had in the minors and he liked it. He said it was something he needed (even though he was helluva player) and some of his best memories are from the minors. The Big Time is obviously better but if you've already got a nice chunk of change in your pocket, his opinion is Kyler Murray should stick with baseball. He was also good enough to have gone the football route (a very good QB) but he always felt his long term future was safer and potentially better financially in baseball. Photos of him hitting home runs off guys like Randy Johnson are pretty cool things to have in his den.
