I don't like Kobe nor do I care for him but this is BS.
He is top 50 at least

There are way more than 93 players in the NBA that I would pick over Kobe at this point. Dude was great but he is awful now.
Last year when he played he was atrocious. He was taking 20 shots a game despite not even being able to convert at 38% of them. That is ridiculous. That's not a player that helps you win games.
And then when you factor in his age and the chances of him not playing a full season. 93 to me is too high.

Didn't he miss a lot of shots? One time he tried to put like 5 moves on someone and threw up a brick and another time he hit the side of the backboard. He looked healthy and fluid in Tuesday's preseason game. I have my doubts that he'll stay healthy all season giving recent happenings, but if he does stay healthy, he can still play at a high level.
IF HE PLAYS.
I totally agree that based on potential talent Kobe is higher than 93- but man...when was the last time the guy played like it for any kind of time?

^^^THIS^^^
Anyone who thinks a healthy Kobe, even at 37, is only the 93rd best player in the league clearly knows nothing about basketball. But he has to stay healthy or it doesn't matter.

Your friend Stephen A Smith made a good point on First Take though. If he was rank that low due to injury, shouldn't Durant be ranked much lower as well but I bet Durant is still top 5
I was talking about the first game when he was chucking balls off the side of the backboard. If you call scoring 13 points on 5 of 9 shooting missing a lot of shots, then yes, he missed a lot of shots.
shaqdaddy all over Kobe

I think a lot of people expect him to end up getting injured again. Personally If I thought it would be possible for him to play next year, I would rather save him so he could play limited minutes in the next few seasons after the rookies developed into a team capable of making the playoffs, but that would be riskyI don't like Kobe nor do I care for him but this is BS.
