They're 10-18 with the new coach, .357, which would put them just ahead of the Wizards in 10th. Of course, that's without looking at who those first 22 games were against and if they would win at that same clip (and how those extra wins would result in extra losses for the other teams).

Fizdale was 21-83 so miller at 10-18 is quite an improvement.

Apples and oranges to use his W/L beyond this season, as that was a different roster of players. Fizdale was 4-18 this year. It has been an improvement, but not to being in the thick of things just yet.

Mills has held a prominent role in the Knick front office since 2013.

Since that time they are 117-365 and have not been to the playoffs.

This is a move that actually could make a difference if they hire the right guy to replace him. Changing the coach doesn’t matter until they have a competently run organization.
