Marcus Morris in particular makes a very solid role player on a contending team. But he is literally the Knicks best player. As a 4th-6th option he is fantastic. As a 1st option not so much.

I am not the one making a fool of myself.

And yes, that is true to a point.

But also why the Knicks suck. They have a collection of role players and nobody capable of being a leading man or even a second option. But plenty of their guys would make quality pieces in the right situation.

You know, like JR Smith. Decent 4th option with LeBron to keep him in check. Terrible 2nd option playing next to Melo.

Ummmmm, how did you refute his point? He said your players, using Morris as an example, are good backups, but not starters. You replied so are a bunch of our players. I think you need to review debating basics. Having 6 good 6th options does not equal having a first option.

The Knicks offseason was demonstrably bad but they could redeem themselves fairly well with some deft moves to unload some of the guys they signed.

Payton has really upped his trade value with his play lately. Lots of teams would like to have Morris. Trade them for some draft capital and it would be one of the smartest things the Knicks have done in the Dolan era, which is more of an indictment of the Dolan Era than praise of those moves.

Look, I have watched maybe an hour combined of Knick play, 5 minutes maybe the rest of NBA. Just have no interest in watching a beautiful game destroyed by today’s iso game .

The knicks had a plan, KD Keyrie. Zion . It failed ! The second plan was to get rid of these role players after a year for good picks. They’ll F that up too somehow.

The one thing they DID NOT EXPECT, Fizdale,s incompetence. !!!!

The funny thing is, no one has said that Fizdale is a great coach. All anyone has said is that he's not the problem.

The problem is the owner. Unless and until he either sells the team or finally gets smart enough to hire some folks who know what they're doing and get out of the way...it's not ever going to matter who the coach is.
