Dr. Buss & Jim are right to not have given Phil Jackson more power in a management position. The fact is PJ would have been just a average coach if it weren't for MJ, Shaq, FISHER, Kobe! etc. IF PJ were a great coach he would have more ring with the teams he had while coaching! No disrespect to Rambis but I doubt NY's record will get better. Smart move would be for the L's to Fire B Scott & get Fisher as assistant w/the EX OKC coach. Or even just Fisher as head coach!

Sorry, but I just don't believe that part. He has 11 championship rings, and when he didn't win, I look at the teams that won and know Phil just wasn't going to beat them.

In order for Phil Jackson to return to coaching the Knicks, he must be thinking he is getting Durant and another All-Star to add to the roster. No way does that guy return to coach if he doesn't think he can win a ring, he wouldn't tarnish his coaching legacy.
