well, sure, they won that ONE title back then, yes, but i wasn't alive then, so to ME, the halycon days is when they were consistently one of the best teams in the league during the 1990's.

Those 90's Knicks were so much fun to watch. The rivalry with Reggie and the Pacers was awesome too.

I didn't like any of those mid-90's guys other than Anthony Mason. And Charles Oakley, for the brief time he was there. Could not stand Ewing, Starks, Greg Anthony, Charles Smith, Derek Harper, or even Doc Rivers.

Oh, they also had Heisman winner Charlie Ward, who was known at the time as the best quarterback in NYC.

It was cool when they got Larry Johnson but they balanced it out by bringing in Latrell Sprewell
