This doesn't bother me. You're supposed to have confidence in yourself. Its not like he's some terrible SG saying he's the best. He is a top 3 SG in basketball so he have the right to think he's the best.

Yep and when you consider defense and offense, Harden is probably 3rd on my list. I would take Butler and Klay over him if we're including defense. Obviously if we're talking offense, Harden is the best

Klay has basically been the same this season as last year. The only difference is that he's taking 2 less shots per game. Outside of that the numbers across the board are very similar.

Not sure who'd I'd take between Harden and Klay. They are completely different players, and asked to do completely different things. I'm definitely taking Klay over Butler though.

I think there's really no clear cut best SG in the NBA right now. Harden should be in the lead, but he's so terrible at the defense end of the court, it negates how great he is on offense.

Klay is a great shooter, although he doesn't create much of his own offense. He's totally legit though defensively and guards both 1's and 2's. He's probably the second best shooter in the NBA.

Jimmy Butler is the best defender out of the 3, and he's come a long ways towards improving his offense. He's probably the best two way player out of all 3 of these guys.

Harden is probably the only one of the 3 being a franchise player on a championship team. I think both Jimmy and Klay are probably the type of guy you want as your second best player on the team. It doesn't say anything about their talent, but more so to the lack of importance in today's NBA on the SG position.

But I can't in good conscience pick Harden to be the best when he basically gives a middle finger to his teammates on a night basis with this defense. Earlier in the season when I saw Jimmy Butler play, I thought he surpassed Klay as the best SG. Klay has really come on though in the last few weeks and is putting up some monster numbers.


Gun to my head I go (in a vacuum):
1) JB
2) Klay
3) Harden

For the Warriors though, Klay is the best SG for them hands down.

Hell nah, I'd be more concerned if he didn't think he was the best. I'd take him over Harden, maybe not Jimmy Buckets though, since he's probably the most complete SG in the NBA.

I think you could argue that...

1) Klay isn't even the best SG on his own team.
2) The three best SGs in the NBA don't even play SG.
