This was a tad shocking, but as long as we win that's all that matters at this point. I don't like losing him, but I feel like JD has created a major league outfield which is something we haven't had in awhile.

The way I see it. You can disregard the James Jones part of deal because it doesnt matter. Bass for Wilhelmsen is probably a wash or close to it.
So I guess i see it as swapping Kivlehan for Martin which is good in my book. We badly needed a decent defender in CF.

True, but I am old school and believe that a team 10 steps behind the leaders should make steps moving the bar forward (via free agency) than laterally which doesn't get them any closer to the prize. Aoki was their first step forward IMO this offseason.
