The Broncos are apparently in the mix...and will throw a heap of money at him.

Since he took over full time in 2015:

2015 - 101.6 rating, 69.8% comp, 11 INT
2016 - 97.2 rating, 67% comp, 12 INT
2017 - 93.9 rating, 64.3% comp, 13 INT

yeah yeah yeah, we can probably find a run like this for a lot of QB's including #12...

but is this concerning or just a product of the skins offense and personnel?

He is a borderline franchise guy. Like a Carson Palmer with 8 or so more good years ahead of him.

If he goes to the Broncos then at least people will stop calling him KC on message boards.

Kirk has been very good but his inability to come up big in the biggest moments is the concern. Don't read a lot into those numbers, given the cast he was working with this year a 93 rating may have been his best season ever. They had zero run game, iffy protection, and one legit WR. Oh and his Pro Bowl tight end got hurt, again, because he is made of glass.

If he does leave I hope he goes to a contender, I think in Denver he could very well be in another Super Bowl.

I have shit on Cousins for a while but he probably has shown that he is mostly legit after this year with not some awesome help. Would prefer the Broncos stay completely hapless for at least another 3 years. Would like the AFCW to suck as much as possible while Mahomes is developing.

3 straight seasons of 4,000yds passing, 25+TDs, and 2:1 TD/INT ratio to go with good completion percentage and a rather consistent yards per attempt? He's proven himself as a good NFL QB.

I think 2017 showed that Cousins' production isn't just a product of the personnel. In 2016 he had 2 WRs that got 1,000 yds and both left in FA, and he went out in 2017 and still produced comparable numbers. Not to mention, as any Skins fan would tell you, they suffered a lot of injuries this season (OL, RB, etc.), but he still had a year about like his previous ones.

Cousins isn't elite (Brady, Rodgers, etc.), but neither are Carr or Stafford and they're the highest paid QBs in the league. Imo, Cousins is a better version of Alex Smith and I think he'll be a big upgrade for the team that signs him. And I think the Skins will greatly regret letting him go.

Its probably wishful thinking that they would stick with Paxton Lynch again. I'm awfully glad they drafted him instead of the Chiefs.

i saw the TD's. i tend to ignore yards etc in this day in age, as the leagues geared towards the QB. same with TD's. i look at rating and comp%.
thats me tho.

Denver would definitely do something like this. They have always wanted to be elite and like with Manning, Cousins could be their big ticket to getting back to contention, although Cousins is not in Manning's league.

You give them someone like Cousins(who I’m not even that big of a fan of but he is good) and Denver is probably at least a top 3 seed in the AFC.

DG you are my Redskins brother, HTTR! But, what Super Bowl was KC in? I was in a coma for the entire 2014 season, so I might be missing year...appreciate the update.

I think Cousins would be a solid pickup for any team looking for a qb. Better than drafting a QB that isn't proven.

Didn't the Redskins have a ton of injuries on offense this season?

Peyton won there on his last legs. All they need is an above average QB. Cousins puts them back in contention.

So they're already done with Paxton Lynch? Wow.
