Oh fun.

Donnell is going to be at the Mothership this month.

i can’t stand him, personally, but if he makes his return to KT, that will be must-see for sure.

I was hoping Tony would not offer Beavis a GT, because that would have been insulting. I am glad Tony is able to recognize when a pull is beyond that level.

The new top-honor now may be when Tony pushes them to the Little Boy to perform for Adam. That is a true career opportunity. I think he has done that 3 or 4 times now.

why would that be insulting... i didnt think he was any better than some golden ticket people... he also didnt do any material besides the self deprecating jokes...

He did an amazing job... and had a pretty good interview... definite reasons to think he is the real deal, but he is not better than than KT regulars...

i dont even think he was the best of the night... then again it was a very strong night...

He is a 9 year vet who is able to support himself and his family through his comedy. He is closer to being a guest than a regular or a GT or whatever.

being a full time comedian doesnt mean you are a successful comedian... did anyone ever hear about this guy beforehand?? i certainly havent...

again, his entire bit today was self deprecating... that is probably the easiest form of comedy... not saying anything negative about him, he definitely looked and sounded the part.. but again, i am nowhere convinced that he is better than any GT or regular...

not to do with anything about that, but Big Jay Oakerson had my favourite joke of the episode...

Apparently, they recorded 2 shows this past Monday. They also have at least 1 episode still in the can from LOS in Vegas.

That's good news. Hopefully they drop one over the weekend

Still watching old episodes. I never thought I'd say this but I miss Afrodeity. Not her stand up, singing or interviews. I miss hearing her laughing in the background when other comics are performing. It's a strange phenomena.

Very distinct. And Tony would interact directly with her from the stage all the time (“Calm the fuck down, Afrodeity”)

During Michael’s first episode (his bucket pull), you could hear him laughing throughout the episode as well.

Before his bucket pull episode? I didn’t notice before his bucket pull episode. But you could distinctly hear him during the opening set when he was pulled.

No, I was talking about after his bucket pull. But as I'm watching old episodes I'll be listening for him in episodes before that. But I'm guessing he wasn't a guy who signed up for months before he got pulled. I'm sure if Tony noticed a guy in a wheelchair every week he'd just bring him up before long.

I believe he was in town visiting, and got pulled his first week, then was essentially made a regular right away. I am going off memory, though, so maybe I have it wrong. I do remember getting the sense that he was a legit bucket pull, though. His whole set was off screen because they couldn’t get him on stage, so that doesn’t lend to any kind of setup.

i fell asleep right before Cam Patterson went on... was this episode unusually longer than normal??

i thought this was a weak episde though... I hated the Faux Dr. Phil guest... Ari started the show all dressed in a suit, it kind of took me away from liking him this week... not sure if his material was great either...

Jake Shaw was a huge disappointment for me as i loved him in his debut... but this is the third time seeing him and i am over him, especially with this last bit...

I did not like the big stage, this is the first big stage i watched for kill tony... really think it takes away from the heart of the show...

also the other jewish "comedian" who bombed terribly might have been the most awkward i have ever felt watching this show...

only think i liked was Pauly shore...
