Sort of good for the team because he has played well in games.

But, is it good for the player? He is not going to play at the next level because of his history of injuries.

He has been injured so often, I think he should hang up the spikes and move on with life. Why risk any further injury to your body because in 30 years, it might catch up with him.

Well, depending upon how he does this year a team may take a flier on him.

if he can stay healthy all next year and plays pretty good, i could see an NFL camp invite as a FA or something. he hasn't been able to stay on the field this year either, so that's the biggest concern. i do remember him playing pretty good at the end of last year when he was healthy.

He would be a punching bag for the NFL. I played golf with a former Husker. He got a phone call during play from the Dallas cowboys wanting him to come out and be on their practice squad. He turned them down stating he didn't want to be a punching bag. Still the money is pretty good but you get beat up.

I don't think either have had strong enough individual seasons to justify leaving for the draft. They stand to make a lot more money staying. Collins does for sure.

But yeah... Sadly they will likely both be gone.

The good news is Kevin Maurice is coming into his own.

Need to maybe look to the JUCO ranks for a top DT.

I'm still liking this DL next year even without those two.

Freedom will play on Sundays. He's arguably been the biggest difference maker at DL we've had this year when healthy.
