I'm middle class and I have 2 cars a RV and a motorcycle.

He is worth high 8 or low 9 figures and he has one 20 year old car.

Understood, but why a 73? I like the 71-73 sportroof cars (Mach1), but would otherwise prefer something earlier.

I had a '67 coupe as my three season driver (no NY winters lol) for almost 20 years until I solid it about 5 years back or so. Hated to get rid of it, but 200K+ means a new engine soon (already rebuilt and bored over once), plus rust starting in the rear quarters, etc. Sold it for more than I originally paid for it and let someone else realize it was going to be a money pit soon (it was back up for sale within a year or two).

My Grandpa had one.

He died when I was 7.

My clearest memories of him are when he used to pick my up from school in that car.

He left it to my uncle who still has it to this day.

He's got no kids and promised me he'd leave it to me.

That explains everything. My Dad had all of the popular Mopar muscle cars of the 60's and early 70's, but they were all long gone before anything could be promised lol. The Mustang thing came to me on my own growing up, especially since they are so much more affordable (and easier to find aftermarket parts to repair/rebuild) than Cudas, Challengers, Roadrunners and the like.

Narrowly missed out on a 69 Roadrunner rebuild project as my first car (guy backed out of the deal), so I ended up cycling through a 79 Dodge Aspen and a 77 Formula Firebird before getting my Mustang. Maybe one day I'll get another classic, that itch will always be there.

We bought a torn up 66 VW Samba two years ago that my hubby and his idiot brother are restoring for my daughter.

You are implying the trade talks for Leonard caused George to stay in OKC. That just isn't true. Every comment he has made since the season ended made it clear that LA was not a done deal and that he loves OKC.
