I was wrong. Man enough to admit it. We're gonna suck now.

Excuse me while I go cry in my corner.

Yeah definitely sucks, but turn around could be faster depending on the haul they get back for him. Would you rather the team trade him for multiple picks or possibly some younger prospects with upside?

Either or. Trade him to the East, that's all I ask.

That squashed any hopes of attracting LJ.

If Magic can pull it off, will he go after LJ, Paul George swing a deal for Leonard?

I think you trade him to whoever offers the best package. If that is the Lakers, so be it.

Losing Kawhi makes the Spurs a rebuilder. They can do it quickly, but They should be focused on building a contender 2-3 years from now. Whatever best helps them get there is the right deal.

That was my suggestion a few weeks ago.

    I mean, Kawhi isn't a free agent.

So we still have to wait and see how the Spurs decide to handle the situation.

I'm starting to feel like this Leonard, PG, LBJ thing might actually have some legs now. He can always demand the Lakers, Leonard is from Compton.

Kawhi isn't a free agent so he has absolutely zero leverage on where he's traded. Spurs have to think about THEIR future, not his.

If that actually happens... Laker fans are going to be insufferable again.

But thats ok, because in that scenario, I would be one of those insufferable Lakers fans. :D

I wasn't sure but if he says he'll refuse to resign with anybody but the Lakers then that could give LA enough leverage?

Would kind of be a dick move to pull, but its becoming more and more common in today's NBA.
