With those 3? Not likely in the first year because it will take some time for all the other pieces they add to gel (see Miami Heat 2010) but after that, they would definitely be threats. Lebron/PG/Kawhi can guard anything the Dubs throw out there.

I love it. I WANT that team to form. Warriors need a new rival. And if it's still the same team (Ws) vs man (LeBron) rivalry, that's great. But I want a superteam to fight.

Kawhi Leonard, LeBron James and Julius Randle together would make a pretty decent start - To complete that, however they would have to trade Lonzo Ball in order to dump Luol Deng and free up some money - What I saw earlier is the Lakers are trying to find a team that will take him and try to rehab him for some value. Given the choice, I would rather have Paul George or Kemba Walker over Chris Paul though

I get that part. My point is why trade him in the next week to the Lakers knowing that it reportedly would lead to Lebron going to LA. You can trade him at the end of July for the same assets and LBJ is long gone.

Lebron isn't waiting until mid or end of July to make this decision

Because LA won't have the same offer in mid July if they miss on LeBron.

Looking at this strictly from Lebron's perspective, if the lakers give up all their young guys for you and Kawhi, do you really think you can beat the Dubs 4 of 7 with you, Kawhi, and a bunch of role players?

Also, it places much greater importance on the regular season too. Because whoever gets the 1 seed avoids playing the other superpower in the conference semis.
