Green finished 2nd and Hassan finished 3rd.

Well deserved.

Again: This kid is my 3rd favorite player in the NBA.

Humble, hardworking, plays the right way.

I think the order is right. Unfortunate that Draymond likely won't get a DPOY as long as Kawhi is around. Kawhi is really a lockdown defender of the highest order.

Why would that be more motivation for Hassan? Do you not agree with the order?

Dude is the quietest most humble robotic player in history.
He is the most Spurs-like player in the history of the Spurs.

Heck, he makes boring Tim Duncan look like some coke-addled egomaniacal loudmouth jerk in comparison.
He is not being quiet on purpose. It is just some clinical intense shyness that probably needs treatment.

The interview with him after winning the award was painful to watch. I felt bad for both ESPN and Kawahi.
I honestly think Kawahi was rooting for Draymond to win it.....just so he would not have to speak.

Hassan was not even close in voting.

It was definitely a two man race. Whiteside is a good defender, but the voters clearly preferred Green/Leonard.

I think I read Whiteside got 2 first place votes and I think Kawhi and Draymond locked up the rest.

I just read that Draymond was left off 9 ballots, all together. Those people need to have their voting privileges revoked.

Also not sure if Kawhi was not voted on some ballots, but he was voted 3rd on 4. WTF. There is no justifiable argument for him being any lower than 2. I more understand Draymond being voted 3rd on 15 ballots.

I'm fine with the order. I doubt Hassan is though so he will have a point to prove this playoffs. I'm sure he will try hard to dominate games on the defensive end. Wouldn't be surprised if he puts up a Triple Double

Makes sense. As good as Hassan is, he can't defend as many different positions as Leonard and Green can.

Did you see what Klay said?

Snub.

Could have gone either way, both are worthy.

But, do you think Green's disposition could be a reason why he came in 2nd?

Probably not considering this is voted for by the press.

The guys a walking sound bite.

No I think Draymond was giving credit to Kawhi this year. Really last year was his probably best shot at winning DPOY for years to come because Kawhi is so stellar. Kawhi missed a bunch of games last year, so I get it. This year, Draymond says he doesn't feel snubbed because Kawhi definitely earned it.

Klay is just supporting his teammate. What's he supposed to come out and say "Yeah, Kawhi is better".

Yeah, you are right.

Again: you can't go wrong with either one.

Bill Worrell, Houston Rockets Play by Play man, needs to have his vote revoked. Look at his ballot:

1st: Draymond Green
2nd: Anthony Davis
3rd: Trevor Ariza

WTF?
