Didn't see it and don't want to see it.

My buddy mentioned it to me earlier, but we were unaware that he had passed.

Heartbreaking news.

Expected this was coming but that doesn't make it suck any less. :(

Prayers to Wilson's family and friends.

Some things in life just don't make sense. I know there's always a plan, but this one doesn't make any sense to me.

Justin was the epitome of a great guy, an incredible teammate, great father and a wonderful friend. My time spent with him will forever be time I cherish, and I learned more from him than any other teammate I ever had. He led by example, he cared about others and the greater good, and he had a genuine way about him that you always knew you were safe when he was around you on the race track. There's people you can trust, then there's Justin. Never did I ever worry about racing him wheel to wheel, not once.

Justin, rest in peace my friend. My fondest memory I've ever had in racing was shared with you by my side, and I'm going to do everything I can to win this championship for you. Thanks for the memories, you're a badass.

I think back to Mid-Ohio when Justin had the fast car and the strategy to win it, but he knew Graham was fighting for the Championship and wanted to win at home with his Mom there. Justin laid back, didn't attack and held off anyone else who might have a go at Graham. Then Sunday, Justin went hard into a turn with Graham and you could see they both had faith in each other. Until Vautier spazzed out, that is. Even then, it looked like Graham tried to keep off of Justin's wheel, even when he knew it was over for him.

Stories of Justin's decency have followed him throughout his career. So much respect for him, and not just because drivers want to respect the dead comrade. They genuinely liked him. Such a huge loss.

Motorsports in general is chocked full of drivers who you wish could have a shot at a top-tier team, just to see what they could do with it. Considering what Justin accomplished at tiny Dale Coyne Racing, he certainly was at the top of that list in my book.

If only he had managed a full season ride at Andretti for this year, I think that we would have seen him in Victory Lane yet one more time - or maybe more.

One of the most frustrating things about top tier motorsport. Guys like Max Chilton, Ed Carpenter and Pastor Maldanado buy their way into rides and real talent like Justin, Nico Hulkenberg and Conor Daly have to fight for table scraps.

Had JW stuck at either Minardi or Jaguar, he could have wound up in a Toro Rosso or Red Bull eventually.
