Mariners act like they are blowing up the budget. Freaking paying guys for less than 60 games instead of 162. This is why they are losers.

I’ve always liked Turner but he’s near the end of his career, almost 40 years old… You don’t make moves just to make moves, it’s gotta make more sense … The guy has playoff experience, will help a bit, but was hoping for something better …

Yeah, he is definitely a little long in the tooth and his best days are behind him and he is without a doubt, boom or bust at the plate

It’s another piece of the puzzle and I’m sure he can help out here and there, but this is not some overwhelming blockbuster deal by any means

Now Vlad Guerrero would be a completely different animal. a guy who has a lot of experience at first base although he’s not a top end glove, but his bat can make a difference on a game to game basis

I guess this squashes any hopes that we bag him

I love the trade as an addition, but agree this can't be the big move. We need one more big bat. A must.

Well Servais said he will play 1B for now until deadline os over. Sounding as if there is still one more deal out there. I prefer a middle of the lineup corner infielder over corner outfielder at this point. I think between Robles-Raley-Moore they can survived at that spot. Absolutely little to no production from corner infielders.

I was SO hoping for Vlad, that move would be an instant massive upgrade !
