We didn't give up too much for Randy. Aiden Smith could have potential but players in that Rok/A level that are young need a lot of coaching and development it's hard to tell how they will pan out. However, the Mariners are super desperate for offense as they should they have Polanco batting cleanup. I would be willing to package both Young and Harry Ford if we received Vlad Jr in return and was willing to sign a long term extension upon arrival.

Fair but that’s really their entire farm system. Don’t get me wrong I like this deal, just saying people think Smith could be a top 100 by the end of the year.

It's time they stopped thinking of Robles as a fourth outfielder. He's the best hitter on the team right now until he proves otherwise. He hits left-handers and right-handers equally well. He needs to be in the lineup everyday and that should not change when JRod comes off the IL.

Rivas is the SS. They brought him up instead of Bliss because he is a switch hitter, has a high OBP, and steals a lot of bases. He can manufacture runs.

Yeah he’s underperformed overall this year, BUT has been hitting better lately, so maybe he’ll provide a spark ️ it’s good they’re trying to make changes, I’ll give them that, not a bad move… Although, the player to be named later kinda makes you wonder …

I still wonder about the PTBNL. Some times it is an injured guy waiting to see reports on (Felnin). Maybe I am looking too much into it. That would be an overpay in my mind.

Yeah, his first few months of this 2024 season were absolutely horrific at the plate. His first few months this season were so bad he made Garver look like Henry Aaron.

And he has a punch out rate that is right in line with being a Seattle mariner, .250 K %. One strike out for every four trips to the dish.
