Just met Von

I was at the Best Buy in Lonetree Co and Von Miller was there filming a geek squad commercial.
He was dressed up in the geek squad white shirt black tie and pants.
Had my Broncos cap on so the local Fox 31 affiliate interviewed me about Von . Will be on tonight at 9.

First thing I said was "What he doesn't make enough money ". Called it the "Summer of Von".

There were 4 suburban police cars there so security was maybe 8 sheriff officers surrounding his filming. He shook my hand but that was about it.

Closet techie? No sure. He did a Geek Squad in home visit earlier this summer. Not sure why he choose geek squad.

He believes that all humans will be bald in the future as less hair helps to keep the brain cooled so the smarter we get the less hair we need. Also believes we are heading towards only having 4 toes.

He is obsessed with extinct animals for some reason. Researches them for hours at a time. Or will spend hours researching information about the universe.

One of the cool things he has been researching a lot lately is body language and how to read the body language of those around you. He is using this to try and tell which players are struggling a bit more or need somebody to come lift them up. He is huge on positive reinforcement making a huge difference in those around him and wanting that to be his leadership style.

I am not sure it is a "geek" personality though from the way I understand it, he dresses a bit different. The geek look got popular for awhile then went out of style. Von still uses it among other looks he uses. I don't know him personally so maybe he is a huge GEEK, but from what i understand he comes off to his teammates a bit different then a "geek"

Then again to me geek is playing pokemon go, reading comic books, watching Sci-Fi, rolling your pants up, maybe the ideology behind geek has changed.

If Von plays out his contract - like he did the playoffs last season - he can sell all the soap he wants - and I'd still love him. He is the face of the franchise for the next three years.

The glasses give him kind of a geeky look. Von also likes the sophisticated hayseed persona. I find it very palatable for the face of the franchise. PFM probably taught him a thing or two about being responsible in the commercial market place.
