So let me ask...the following is a list of free agent and draft eligible QB's this off season. Which free agent QB's will be signed before any of the draft guys are selected and which draft guys will be taken ahead of any signing of free agents. We know that Cousins is the first guy to go, it's the "where" each will go that effects every other teams potential move.

SN: Although Brees will technically become a free agent, and likely not available, I listed him in case someone believes that he'll hit the market. However I also added Bridgewater/ Keenum to keep the numbers at 6 each. (Listed in no particular order)

If the Browns go that route & don't achieve relatively high success on offense & at QB then every coach & FO staff member should be fired after the season. They can't keep going the cheap route (in terms of $$ & high picks) at QB. They already passed on Wentz & Watson - they can't afford to pass on a potential top notch QB 3 offseasons in a row.

If the Browns go that route & don't achieve relatively high success on offense & at QB then every coach & FO staff member should be fired after the season. I was actually going to have the browns double down on Mccarron and a Allen, Darnold, or Mayfield similarly to what the bears did last season with Glennon and Mitch... the reason I didnt predict that was because of the negative feedback the bears received last year and because they still have Kizer on the roster.

It wouldnt be a bad move as I believe Allen, Darnold, and Lamar Jackson arent ready to start. Rosen and Mayfield seem more seasoned to be week 1 starters.

Yep - if they picked up McCarron & drafted a QB high then that would likely buy at least the FO a few more years regardless of their play this season. Several teams have gone this route & wound up giving way to the rookie eventually (Watson did it w/ Texans, Wilson w/ Seahawks, etc). Browns have worst track record at QB (worse than Redskins) so they really need to make a major move in this area.

no I'm not saying anything like that. Trade ups happen often as do players slipping. Miami wont trade up but if a QB slips to them I can see them taking one in a second.

2. Kirk Cousins....Cleveland

3. A.J. McCarron...Arizona

4. Sam Bradford....Back-up in Philadelphia (The rich get richer as they trade Nick Foles)

5. Case Keenum/ Teddy Bridgewater...Keenum stays in Minny, Bridgewater to the N.Y.Jets

6. Chase Daniel...goes unsigned until after the draft. He'll be a back-up again somewhere.

Meant to put a slash between the two because I believe that Arizona will do the McCarron/rookie thing. And agree that the charger will make a move for Rivers replacement. I'm just not sure which will be which yet.
